The PIBD BioResource will be recruiting paediatric patients from hospitals around the UK. Paediatric patients with IBD who are being seen under the care of gastroenterology consultants at the hospitals listed below will be considered for participation in the PIBD BioResource and, if eligible, invited to take part.
The first site – Oxford Children’s Hospital – opened in March 2022, with the first patient recruited to the PIBD BioResource in April 2022. Since then, the following sites have opened to recruitment:
- Cambridge Children’s Hospital (joined October 2022)
- Royal London Hospital (joined October 2022)
- Jenny Lind Children’s Hospital, Norwich (joined March 2023)
- Bristol Royal Hospital (joined August 2023)
- Southampton Children’s Hospital (joined September 2023)
All other hospital sites will open in a phased manner.
